A California native, I was born and raised on a farm in Blythe on the border of the Colorado River. After high school, I spent four years in the Air Force, Strategic Air Command, as a crew chief on a B-47 bomber and four more years in college majoring in engineering courtesy of the G. I. Bill. Later on I founded my own high tech company and conceptually designed a new type of scanning electron microscope for the semiconductor industry. When it was a technical success, I sold the company and retired to study the craft of writing novels.
I’ve been married for 35 years to the all around most beautiful woman I ever met, my soul mate, Roxanne. She is a doctor of clinical Psychology. We are long-time runners, skiers, dog lovers and volunteers wherever we think we are needed.
