Pottstown, PA
--(BUSINESS WIRE) -- May 28, 2009
-- The DNA Press/Nartea Publishing team is pleased to announce the publication
of “A Man Beyond Time” (ISBN-13:
978-1-933255-49/ISBN-10: 1933255498 by Rod Norville in October 2009. Taking place across the boundaries of time,
this riveting, romantic adventure asserts the plausibility of time travel
through scientific phenomena as Dr. Greg Philips travels a twisting road
through time to right a terrible wrong from his youth.
“Time travel has
always been a dream for mankind and I am convinced it will be a reality within
a few decades - probably via a mini-black hole,” said Rod Norville. “I wanted to provide a time travel novel that
will hold up over time by not ‘glossing over’ how the time travel was
accomplished. Toward that end, I researched
that in 1972, the prestigious Stanford Research Institute (SRI) provided
dramatic proof of remote viewing ESPionage for the CIA. My story takes off from there.”
Dr. Philips, an SRI
scientist, attempts to demonstrate with a high voltage transmission electron
microscope (TEM), that remote viewing could best be explained if we are living
in a holographic universe i.e. The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle has long
shown that submicroscopic particles are also waves. Those waves could help explain that we do
live in a holographic universe. While
conducting his TEM holographic experiments, Dr. Philips accidently creates a
submicroscopic mini-black hole, which he then turns into a time travel
vehicle. As Dr. Philips travels back to
his youth to correct his terrible wrong, he finds there are horrifying dangers
for himself and the world whether he is traveling forward or backward in
time. Do we dare go there?
This entertaining and informative read is perfect for any
student of science fiction, romance, and suspense.
The author, Rod Norville, is the founder of Angstrom
Measurements Inc., where he successfully worked on designing a new type of
scanning electron microscope for the semiconductor industry. He lives in Los Altos, California.
